| Scholarship - Postgraduate study at University of Westminster
The University of Westminster of the United Kingdom is offering to CASTME (Mauritius), under the scholarship scheme for the year 2010, one scholarship to a graduate of the Republic of Mauritius for a taught Masters in anyone of the following fields of study:
Computer Science and Software Engineering
Science, Society and Development
Human Interaction and Multimedia
Business and Information Systems
Network and Electronics
Applicants should:
(i) possess the SC/GCE ‘O’ level with credits in at least five subjects including English Language at one and the same sitting;
(ii) possess the HSC with three subjects (at least two science subjects) at Principal level (with a pass in GP) or equivalent obtained at one and the same sitting; and
(iii) hold a first degree in a field relevant to the Masters to be embarked on,
(iv) be willing to confirm that they will return to Mauritius after their period of study.
The award is tenable for one-year taught postgraduate course and covers all the costs related to the scheme.
Applications, together with
(i) copies of certificates/testimonials,
(ii) a motivation letter, stating how the course will be of benefits for Mauritius,
will be received by CASTME (Mauritius), the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre, the Association of Physics Educators and the Society of Biology Teachers and the Gender And Science And Technology Association.

The final decision on the successful candidate will be taken by a mixed board of CASTME and Westminster people, with advice from CASTME (Mauritius) and the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre.
Submission should reach CASTME (Mauritius) by 27 November 2009 by registered post. A soft copy of the application form should also be submitted on a CD.
The envelope should be clearly marked ‘Postgraduate Scholarship’ on the top left corner to the attention of The Director, Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre, Old Moka Road, Bell Village.
CASTME (Mauritius) reserves the right not to proceed with the selection exercise.
